Forms and personal data
Mactwin respects your privacy. Through forms on our website, Mactwin only collects and processes personal data that you yourself have consciously provided to us. We treat this personal data confidentially and always in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We only collect data in order to be able to send you the requested information, like our newsletters and whitepapers. You are free to unsubscribe at any given time, upon which we will remove your data from our database. For sending newsletters, we use MailChimp (see below).
Cookies
Mactwin uses cookies on this website. A cookie is a small text file that is automatically offered to your web browser. Using cookies, we collect information about the usage of our website, like which pages you have visited and for how long. You can allow or disallow the use of cookies, by changing the settings of your browser.
Google Analytics & Leadfeeder
We want our visitors to quickly and conveniently find information on our website that is relevant to them. By using Google and Leadfeeder, we collect information we can use to optimise our website. Mactwin handles this with great care for your privacy. To this end, we have not only signed the required Data Processing Agreements with Google and Leadfeeder, but also taken the following actions:
- The last 3 digits of your IP address are anonymised;
- We have disabled ‘Data sharing’ in Google;
- We don’t use any other Google services, in combination with the Google Analytics cookies.

Newsletter and Mailchimp
To send you our e-mail newsletter, we use MailChimp. This allows us to, for example, see how our newsletters are read and how often a certain article is clicked. We use this information to improve the relevancy of the content of our newsletter for our readers. As long as you are subscribed, your data is known by MailChimp. MailChimp is compliant with the strict privacy requirements as stated in the EU-US Privacy Shield framework. Mactwin has signed a Data Processing Agreement with Mailchimp.
